Deep Rock Galactic

Developer: Ghost Ship Games Release Date: 28/2 Platforms: PC, X1

Take up arms as one of four unique classes of dwarves and join the Deep Rock initiative and embark on co-op mission on the hostile planet of Hoxxes IV to mine precious gems and metals.

“With Deep Rock Galactic, we wanted to create a true co-op experience where teamwork really matters. We’re mixing the traditional co-op shooter with all the goodness of huge procedural levels” said Mikkel Martin Pedersen, the games director and Co-Founder of Ghost Ship Games.

Where The Water Tastes Like Wine

Developer: Dim Bulb Games/Serenity Forge  Release Date: 28/2 Platforms: PC

Traverse through a century of American folklore with an eclectic cast of characters in this game about surviving manifest destiny. The game has enlisted quite a talented cast of voice actors to bring the games many compelling stories to life, including world-renowned singer-songwriter Sting, Dave Fennoy (Telltale’s The Walking Dead), Cissy Jones (Firewatch), Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect) and many more.

A Hole New World

Developer: Mad Gear Games Release Date: 1/3 Platforms: NS

Successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2015, this classically inspired game where the challenge is in the game, not in the controls feels right at home on the Nintendo Switch.

It’s an old school platformer that tries to implement some new idea while still keeping to its roots.

Battlezone: Combat Commander

Developer: Big Boat Interactive Release Date: 1/3 Platform: PC

Theremasterr of Big Boat Interactive’s fusion of strategy and shooter action game, Battlezone: Combat Commander arrives on the PC this week. With updated art and effects, DirectX 11 rendering and shading, 4K resolution support, and retextured and upscaled terrain, the game has been thrust into the modern age. The game will also include cross-play online mulitplayer accross Steam and GOG and support both online and LAN multiplayer.

Silent Streets: Mockingbird’s Last Dive

Developer: Graphium Studios Release Date: 1/3 Platforms: iOS

Delve into the cold and eery Snowport to solve a murder in this AR inspired mobile game from Graphium Studios.

While I couldn’t find a hell of a lot on this game I find the premise quite intriguing, and will probably do a short review at some point.

Tekken For iOS

Developer: Namco Bandai Release Date: 1/3 Platforms: iOS

Surely you know what Tekken is, and it doesn’t need explaining, right? right?! Anyway the classic fighting game will be coming to iOS this week, where you can settle your differences with your friends in virtual battle in the classic fast paced Tekken style we all know and love.

Guns Gore & Cannoli 2

Developer: Crazy Monkey Studios Release Date: 2/3 Platforms: PC

Dust off those guns and re-enter the whacky world of Guns, Gore & Cannoli for the sequel coming to PC’s on the 2nd of March. Travel back as far as the second world war where you’ll get to use an insane arsenal of weapons to take down mobsters, zombies, monsters, nazis and anyone else that stands in your way. As was largely requested by fans of the original, Guns Gore & Cannoli two will feature 4-player online co-op so you can now enjoy the fun with friends.

The game is also being developed for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Xbox One and are scheduled to arrive in the coming months.
